God's Favorite Restaurant

I texted most of you about this, but just to preserve it for posterity....when asked where he would like to eat for dinner, Tyler chose his favorite place..."Chuck E. Jesus"!!!!!

Bear-foot

I asked Tyler if he wanted to walk barefoot down to get the mail. He thought for a minute, and then said, "Yes, I will walk barefoot, I am a BIG. SCARY. BEAR. RAAAWWWWRRRRR."

The Teachers Love Him

Me: "Tyler, what did you do at school today?"

Tyler: "I bugged people."

"Shopping" for Christmas

I forgot to post this before Christmas. Tyler's school had a little shop where the kids could go shopping (with their parents money) for gifts for their family, in order to learn about giving. I don't really think Tyler got the concept. Look who got the biggest gift.

More Breakfast Funny

Ryan: "Tyler, here's your waffle."

Tyler: "Thank you, Daddy." (he's so polite)

Ryan: "You're welcome."

Tyler (with attitude): "I *AM* welcome."

An Italian Breakfast

So, Tyler is a creature of habit. And pretty much every morning, he wants a waffle for breakfast (or peanut butter toast, which he feels is a pretty good meal morning, noon and night). He likes to help cut the waffle with his own little knife and then he likes to help pour the syrup. And everyday, the same phrase, with his own Italian spin.

"Let's the pour the syrup, Mommy. Be careful, not-a too much."

Morning Songs

Every morning Tyler wakes up at 6:30 and comes into our room. We are usually still asleep (as Kendall is usually up around 5 and then crashes back out till 7 or so), and so we let him watch Disney for 30 minutes while we catnap. His current favorite is Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and I'm pretty sure some of the lyrics on the show's song are:

"Way hey well done crew, everyone knew just what to do...."

and NOT

"Hey hey welcome you, I don't know what to do...."


Try continuing to sleep instead of laughing when you hear that.
